“As a life coach and author, we see many people who have created strategies for business success. But those same people frequently have no plan for success in the more important areas of the life they are living. In 9 Traits of a Life-Giving Marriage, Sue shares clear and sensitive methods of interaction for being as intentional about success in your marriage as you would expect in business.

We have been blessed with nearly fifty years of a marriage that has practiced these important principles. Without careful nurturing of the relationships, your business—or your marriage—will likely fail. Don’t take that chance.”

“Sue Detweiler is simply extraordinary! A gifted woman of God who serves with both grace and godly wisdom, she is a person of courage, integrity, transparency, and faithfulness to the call of the Lord in her life. She sees beyond what may seem to be the impossible and goes forward in Christ realizing that His promise makes all things possible! The Detweiler family has become a testimony of God’s love in action. As a couple, their marriagerelationship serves as a shining example and exemplifies the book title itself.  Having known Sue for more than fifteen years, I have developed a deep respect for her zeal for the Lord, her family, the lost, and the extended Body of Christ. The Lord has called Sue to great significance and purpose.”

About The Author

Sue Detweiler is a mother of six, author, speaker, and radio host with over 25 years of experience in leadership, ministry, and education.

Sue Detweiler’s experience in marriage, motherhood, and ministry exemplifies the life of a woman who has embraced her call and is fully alive to all that God has created her to be.

A life-changing season for Sue follows the night she and her infant daughter almost died in a house fire. As a new mom she was home alone with five-week-old Rachel when their house caught on fire.

Sue writes, "Desperation is a driving force in our lives to seek change. It is during the pressure-cooker seasons in our lives when we find out our areas of weakness and vulnerability. Pressure cookers are known for being hot, dangerous, and able to blow their lid. That house fire revealed the hidden habits of my own heart that needed God's healing touch."
